In an effort to enhance ecosystem liquidity, increase flexibility for token holders, and enable more adaptive governance scenarios aligned with individual strategies, NAO Futures officially opens the voting process for Proposal 8: Adjusting the NAO token withdrawal period from the Governance Pool from 07 days to 01 day.

Under the current mechanism, NAO tokens withdrawn from the Governance Pool are unlocked after a 07-day waiting period, during which users do not receive revenue shares. If Proposal 8 is approved, the unlock period will be shortened to just 01 day. This adjustment aims to enhance asset management flexibility and improve users' ability to respond swiftly to market fluctuations.

Voting Mechanism

Proposal 8: Adjusting the NAO token withdrawal period from the Governance Pool from 07 days to 01 day

Voting conditions: Users must be members of the NAO Governance Pool.

Voting period: From 21.07.2025 17:00 to 29.07.2025 17:00 (UTC).

• Each proposal needs a minimum of 70% of NAO tokens in the Governance Pool to vote to be considered valid.
• Each proposal needs to reach over 50% Approval of the total number of NAO tokens participating in the vote to be approved and implemented.
• Each user has only one vote. The decision will be reserved until the voting period ends.
• The number of NAO users added to the Governance Pool after voting will be automatically updated to the Voting Rate.

Application period if approved: 30.07.2025 17:00 (UTC).

Voting instructions

To participate in voting, users can follow the steps below:

• Step 1: 
  • On Nami Exchange application: At the NAO Futures Wallet interface, select NAO Governance.
  • On Nami Exchange website: On the Home screen, select NAO Project from the menu bar, and then access Governance Pool or log in with your Nami account to the website https://nami.exchange/nao 
• Step 2: Scroll down to the Proposals section, select Proposal 8.
• Step 3: Select Vote, then select Approve or Reject.
